Readers thread: what or who are you reading right now?

On my Kindle I recently read a sample of Sickened: The True Story of a Lost Childhood by Julie Gregory. I...
I read this book and it really made me think. I learned a lot from the book but that’s all I will say so I don’t give any spoilers.

I read a wonderful book after it that I couldn’t put down called The Veil: An Invitation to the Unseen Realm by Blake Healy. It is also a true story. It touched my heart and was just what my soul needed.

It is a photo/ picture book of animal babies. It is called "HEY BABY!" It is a National Geographic KIDS book. It is 90 % photos and 10% explanations about the lives of the baby animals.

Always read multiple nooks at the same time. And slowly generally. Anyway have restarted Alvin Hall - You and your money cause it's ten years since I read it and I need to get back to sensible budgeting.

Hooked: Writing Fiction That Grabs Readers at Page One & Never Lets Them Go by Les Edgerton
Becoming A Writer by Dorothea Brande. The original copyright of this book was 1934!

Permaculture For The Rest Of Us: Abundant Living On Less Than An Acre, by Jenni Blackmore
Saving Seeds, Preserving Taste: Heirloom Seed Savers In Appalachia, by Bill Best
Once again looking through Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, A Survival Guide (2nd edition): Comprehensive Help For Coping With Chemical Hypersensitivity, Chemical Injury, Environmental Illness, by Pamela Reed Gibson, Ph.D.

I read "The Circle" by Dave Eggers.

My cousin gave it to me three years ago, finally got around to it.
It was a good read - in the sense that I was able to read through it - but I didn´t like the style much. It´s about a world where a Facebook-like company starts gaining a monopoly over everything. Gives me the creeps, but great characters it could have been good.
