I had one office tell me that their doctor is but he soonest is 4 weeks away.
This doctor's office just called me. They were asking basically the same information all over again plus a bit more. I have never had the first review process ask if I work and what I do. They even asked where I go to college. And then asked where my husband works...a bit odd was my first thought becasue I have never been asked that before. Honestly my first thought was that they were fishing for money, i.e can I afford the sessions? Maybe it was the way the office lady was wording her questions. I also found her a bit annoying becasue during the call she would put me on hold suddenly.
She said they will call me back.
It is interesting...I think some offices and doctors get caught up in 'reviewing' their possible new patients ahead of time but then forget that those possible new patients are also reviewing the ease of appointment making or the helpless of the staff. I know that a lot of people go through doctors so you learn to notice things about the doctor's staff and interview questions and you learn to avoid those that set of warning bells.
But I will still give this doctor a chance, becasue my therapist recommend them. And perhaps text my therapist asking if he has any idea why they would be asking about my job and my husbands job in the first review. The first appointment I can see them asking but not in the review over the phone.
