There are some other headache meds out there. I'm assuming he is hoping the neurontin will help with that. Sometimes it takes a while to get up to the dose you need. If you can't tolerate it, tell him you can't tolerate it and don't want to take it anymore. I know how it can be to be trying to find the right combo to help you, I was there and ended up being hospitalized several times until we found the right dose.
