Just to update and show members why this upgrade was needed, from the below stats you can identify for yourself that the old server had pretty much bottlenecked to its maximum ability through April - July. As outlined with the increase in load, changing to the new server you can identify why that was needed with the growth of traffic onto the site, which the new server can handle with ease, thus the traffic has tripled in the last three months. Oct results obviously are not complete, as Oct has not ended yet.
For those who couldn't understand the requirement for change, I hope this allows you to identify it more easily, as numbers talk.
Thinking of any server... basically, it will only allow as much traffic onto it as capable of handling, thus throttling the traffic onto pages, which for members provides a slower response time, posting, lag, etc. With the new server, this issue was removed with an abundance of resources to cater the expected load and its peaks. Now all the traffic, plus growth, has access into the site at once without issue.
Those figures are slightly higher than real-time statistics via Google analytics, as they're server stat summaries, though you get the idea of growth from them.
