I think it also needs to be said that it's a social problem not a racial one. The solutions are social too - government, city planning, policing, transport, media etc.

I agree with this and I think this was said very nicely. :) It is a social problem and not race.

My husband says that his home country is "People rich and resource poor." i.e There is too many people and not enough of anything to go around as in food, jobs, housing, police, schools, transport etc. etc. I imagine that it would make a very self focused society.

I am so pleased to see that those pieces of shit have been given the death penalty.

I hope that it will highlight even more that rape is not acceptable in anyway, shape or form.

It is a good day for the victims.

It will take a lot more to change the attitudes of some in India but it is certainly a start.
