Yep I actually make a point of not visiting Dawnstar unless I have to because I feel it makes dragons less special if I'm fighting them all the time.

I was trying to find something I found on the internet. Something about a guy named Telrav. Ended up getting lost and losing my way to where he should be.

I came across these huge water falls. Huge! They are southwest of the town called Darkwater Crossing.

Standing on a rock in the middle of the falls... I'm all dark because my armor is black and there's a mask on my face. I love the Dark Brotherhood stuff!

And there is more. I jumped...

Lucky I use God mode at all times. Otherwise I would have died.

There is a cave in these waterfall called Darkwater Pass. I don't know which waterfall it was, and unless you are in God mode or water breathing ( the jump still might kill you) it will probably kill you to get there. Also, the currents will drag you down, and will make you fall. But the cave does get marked on your map as you jump down/ fall down the waterfalls.

Really really fun though, to just let yourself jump at the top. Totally doing that again.

The moon over Markarth, from Vindrel Hall ( which you can buy). Amazing view. I love this about that house, as well as being good sized.The follower is good, strong looking and available for marriage too!

I also like the manor in Solitude, it's rich looking and classy. But I never use it and is now kinda a waste of money. ( but that's okay because I cheated and gave myself lots of gold.) My other favorite is the house in Whiterun. It was my first house, well priced and nicely sized. It feels homely.

When the civil war was happening and Whiterun was being attacked and I actually started yelling at the screen, "Not my house"!!!!! Maybe I get into the game to much...:geek:

I wish I could upload shots of my characters I really do put a lot of effort into them--names, appearance, background, skills... the works. I tried going to a roleplaying forum where you can use your characters in a forum roleplaying game but I found it too overwhelming and couldn't pay attention long enough to read everything.

I went to the tiny town of Darkwater Crossing. North of those cool falls from earlier.The river is nice. Town is cute.

Cool thing I found right next to it...

Then this...all the trees and stuff are dead and barren on the other side of this little pond next to Darkwater.

Also Alduin ( Evil, powerful dragon from main quest) was near by, I could see him in the trees not far away from water. I didn't stay long in the village, worried that Alduin would resurrect a dragon and would kill the handfull of people who lived there.

You can apparently get grand souls ( I think that's what they're called) from mamoths. The invisible chest I found also had a soul mace in it..if the enemy dies in 3 seconds it collects the soul.

Oh yeah, so I bought that horse from whiterun - after dropping a ton of things, weapons armour etc in Dawnstar to be able to fast travel - 3 minutes later I went down a steep hill on the road and the horse jumped...and died. Couldn't heal it.

So, restarted from the save just after opening the chest and lo-and behold the trade caravan was at the entrance to Dawnstar so I was able to sell things instead of droppin...though the prices weren't great, it was all lowly stuff like great swords and junk. Then I bought steel armour and now I can't afford the blasted horse! That was about 4 hours of play lastnight...ugh.
