I had a very strange and upsetting welcome to the new year. I was plagued with sudden unprovoked mood swings, my insomnia added waking mid sleep to the list (I already have sleep onset issues), and I started having awful night terrors almost every night (until then I could count the nightmares I'd had in my life on two hands). Absolutely no major life changes, no difficulties, everything was actually doing quite well, so I'm still not entirely sure what cause the storm to suddenly blow through.
Well, I got new meds (back on 100mgs of seroquel and added 2mgs of prazosin along with a new CPAP that I'm still working out) and I'm finally getting a breath of normalcy.
I had to dial down one of my meds because I've been exhausted all the time, and my insomnia isn't really doing a lot better, though I find I can just lay down for some extra rest to offset it, but my night terrors are gone, my sleep quality (if not quantity) is getting better, and yesterday I was even with it enough to have a shower and make myself a full meal-something I haven't done since late December.
I still have some things to check out, but I'm pretty damned happy that I seem to be able to operate again instead of read and sleep.
