If you have a favourite team that you want to bet on in a sporting even, then you need to tell me about it in the sportsbook discussion forum.
There are listed threads for specific sports already, i.e. the US baseball season is coming around, however; there are simply too many games for one person to try and list. So, if you have a favourite team that you specifically want to bet on via the sportsbook game, then you need to say so in advance. If you aren't going to bet, then please don't say anything.
Popular teams / games will get listed first, though I will attempt to cater people's interests.
A bad example is a member yesterday wanting to bet on a boxing match, asking where it is listed within a day of the event, me seeing it 4hrs out from when the event starts, listing it, and I'm the only one with a bet on it due to delayed listing, the event closed and was then held.
Basically, time zones are an issue, thus advanced warning of days / weeks is required.
Most sporting events have weeks notice. If you want to bet on a specific event in the near future, then you need to say so in the sportsbook discussion forum with plenty of advance, otherwise I simply won't list them.
As I said, it will be impossible to list all baseball games, as there are simply too many, however; if I know the popular teams from members who DO want to bet on their teams, then I will prioritise those teams for listing, leaving others out.
It's like soccer... there are too many games and people just don't bet on them, thus it's a waste of time listing them. But if you have a favourite team that you do want to bet on in a future game, then say so in the sportsbook forum and your teams games can get listed for you to bet upon.
I don't promise to list everything, but if members have an active team that they are going to bet on via the game, then I will list them.
If you ask for it and don't actively bet on it, I will simply ignore future suggestions from you. If you try and play listing with 'sure things' versus your favourite team, I will also blacklist future suggestions.
