My name is Katie and I was married for 3 years to a man who came home from Afghanistan with severe PTSD. We experienced nearly every possible negative aspect of PTSD and went through homelessness, drug abuse, infidelity, and domestic violence. We ended up after all of it splitting up, but he's my best friend and I love him dearly. After going through all this and feeling so alone, I decided to write my experiences down in a book. Since I can't do it alone, I'm reaching out to other spouses who would be interested in sharing their story for a collection of short stories.
