At age 28, starting from scratch is not at all uncommon in those without PTSD, so why should it be a second thought for those with? You mention a law degree. HELLO>>> that took both smarts and determination... give yourself some credit where credit is due! In today's marketplace MANY never take the bar and go on to have much more lucrative careers in the financial fields, and far less monetarily lucrative ones (but more personally rewarding) working for various non-profits who need that legal mind on staff to help them navigate daily minefields, formulate life line grant applications, and manage a plethora of business that otherwise would be handed to outside counsel whereas it could be handled internally and approved by in house or outside counsel for cost savings.
