Samsung just lost to Apple for infringing Apples patents in their smartphones and tablet devices. Apple offered Samsung a licensing deal which they rejected. Google warned Samsung, as the provider of the OS for the Samsung phones and tablets, that Samsung were infringing Apples patents. It all fell on deaf ears though, and Samsung thought they had a right to do whatever they wanted, to replicate Apple devices and technology, their patents, as they seen fit.
Well... Samsung is now up for just over a billion in damages to Apple, which whilst not a lot for a company like Samsung, it is everything when the company doesn't have that type of money around in equity. Now Apple have filed to also have certain products stopped as a result of their win:
Apple's requested injunction would cover the Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S2 AT&T, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Galaxy Prevail and Droid Charge.

Whilst this is probably far from over, as the jury had mistakes in their written verdict which the judge had to make them amend... no doubt Samsung will use this to try and appeal, wasting more time, it doesn't change the current verdict, nor will it change specific infringements they've made against Apple patents, still screwing them to the wall.
Samsung are going to lose enormous amounts from this... pulling their lines from stores, changing production, expenses into their own development that doesn't infringe Apples billion odd they've spent developing this technology, then patenting it. Samsung is up for billions at the end of the day, and will lose billions more in sales and support, and most likely further fees to Apple for products sold after the verdict.
Suck it Samsung IMHO...
