Oh Alex, that doctor of yours is an angel and I am so very sorry you had to go through all that. My God, reading what you went through made me cry. Then I became quite angry. Winging prayers your way.

AKJ, I am putting my money on the old adage "Two Heads are Better than One". Two attornies have power and will use properly. Things begun in anger might not be beneficial.

@Whitney...I promised to behave as well.:D Yes it IS hard not to be able to be there.

Patient advocacy has always been a passion of mine, since I was in my twenties and started working in the medical field. I realized how vital it is to have an advocate when my daughter died at the hands of a doctor.

Granted, she had lived longer than we expected, but a doctor made a decision without my consent. Hence, I believe that anyone in the hospital should have someone to sit with them so nothing is done without a witness.

(((Alex))) has become more than just a 'patient' to me. She has become a very dear friend, and it is impossible to NOT want to fly out there just for support and would keep my mouth shut when necessary...LOL! Really!

She is one of the strongest people I know, and I'm sorry others' have not had the privilege to know her. I am praying that one day I will get to meet her in person.

AKJ: Huge Hugs for what you do! I am not sure if you will understand this. "Angels never sleep", earth angels need peace.

I lost my brother in similar circumstances to your daughter. I am so sorry for our losses, I feel they are what give us strength. Trying to find peace in the journey is not easy. Hugs, Whitney

The sun is peeking from behind me! Will have to go to the beach and see if any trinkets have washed ashore from Japan. I am not far from where an entire Dock washed in.
