I like swimming. I have not forgotten it. I learned swimming when I was 5 yr old. I remember those days. Swimmers would yell to jump in water and I would be shivering to jump in. Once I jumped, I was drowning in water and stopped moving my legs and hands out of fear. Slowly I learned swimming.

I was also afraid to jump from height. I don't know how I learned, but once someone came from behind and threw me into water directly.

I remember my friends used to tell me, if you jump once. You would love it so much and would love to jump 100 times a day. Indeed, it was so much fun.

I would do underwater swimming and learn various things in swimming with friends.

I love swimming :inlove:

Do you love swimming? I would like to hear your experiences with this and hopefully we would create swimmer group. :D

I do love swimming... and enjoyed it for many years. Now I'm not supposed to because of my ears. I am not supposed to get water in my ears when bathing. But I found it really therapeutic and the rhythm of the breathing and blowing bubbles while doing laps something very beneficial. At one time, I was swimming 3/4 to a mile about 4 days a week. I also was a water aerobics, and deep water aerobics instructor. And I was the "go to" instructor to teach special needs children. I miss it... and don't like other cardio activities nearly as much. But I'm trying.

:wideeyed:

I don't think I swam so much ever.

This is great.

You know Alby, I have found so many members used to be teachers. Teaching is a special job I guess.

I am sure you will get there. :)

I love to swim but the water has to be warm. I cannot stand to swim in cold water. We have a pool in the park and I take my granddaughters. They are like fishes. They would stay in there all day if they could. I love swimming and watching them swim. They take pool toys with them too and share them with the other kids.

Me neither gizmo. We would be frozen if we dare to swim in cold water. no? :D hehehe.

Your granddaughters are so understanding. Sharing and giving at such little age. They will go much ahead in their life. :)

Swimming has great things, I have not swam from last 10 years. So I am thinking to swim next summer in our town's swimming pool.

Ha ha! Just teasing ya. I just wasn't sure if you knew.

BTW I learned to swim when I was 29 (oh gosh I'm old!) so it's never too late for anyone! I even taught people who couldn't swim how to float in a swimming pool at 6 feet (2 meters).

I don't like to dive from very high. I am scared of heights even after doing it numerous times! I do great belly flops!
