*Cough Cough ahem
Because of my COPD I can't really smoke weed anymore, I need another way to ingest it, such as a vaporizer. :D
and since you bring up the subject......I am an advocate in my state for medicinal cannabis for the chronically and terminally ill.
I think it would be nice if people would educate and inform themselves about the benefits of marijuana.
It is decriminalized for small amounts here:cool:, but it is still illegal to possess, or grow.:(
(Here I believe the penalties for possession of less than 8 oz. is a misdemeanor, with up to 45 day incarceration, and a $250 fine but, possession of more than 8 oz. / second offenses are a felony.
I am trying to get the laws changed for those that are ill. :sick:(myself included of course).:p
I have used it for 42 years and for the last 20 years, for PTSD/anxiety, depression, insomnia, nausea, pain, inflammation, etc. and I understand it is useful for COPD too (just not smoked).
(I think it has numerous benefits and I believe more will be discovered as research continues).
Anyways.... I got a little side-tracked.
so, bottom line; I am an advocate for the reform of marijuana laws for the chronically and terminally ill patient, on both state and federal levels.
Okay. so back to vape pens and fighting disease......Thank you for your reply, I am more likely to stay on the vape pen knowing the cough will go away or diminish.:tup: I wanted to be sure I wasn't worsening the COPD.
I will update my progress.
:happy::happy::happy:
Peace,
Lion
