So the subject of members of the forum has come up again. Well a lot of things are going to change very soon with the new 'One Password For All' concept coming in.
Yes, people will be able to view what we write, well, so what I say. If they try and partake in any form of conversation and are not meant to be here, then they will be banned, which will probably ban then from the other site too.
The 'Members Only' section only stops students, children, and other non members of any forum from viewing what we write. To actually see this they have to enter all the necessary details and become a member.
So in a nutshell, we all have to just carry on doing what we are doing. Should we get someone on here who does not belong, politely tell them or direct them to where they do belong.
If they continue to either harass, act like an ass, or anything else, we either have the choice of ignoring them by clicking on their icon and hitting ignore, or we can hit the report button.
The other thing we do have to take into account are the combat veterans who have not admitted to themselves they have a problem or have not got the courage as yet to post on here. Some of them never will, but I would like to think that if just one of them gets help from reading our posts and it saves their lives or their relationship, then this forum has achived a purpose.
I know in the beginning I did not post a lot, I just lurked and read. I originally started on the other forum and was constantly hassled for gramma and incorrectly formatting my posts. It just pissed me off massively. So Anthony guided me to this forum and it saved me, and taught me heaps, so I hope I can reciprocate.
The last option we have is that if anyone wants to share something that is eating them up, and wants comment on it, but does not want it on the open forum, then feel free to either PM me, or maybe on of the other guys. Just ask them first.
