So I'm staring at the first picture and I'm trying to figure out where I know it from- then I get super excited! It's a gumball machine! :D Then... wait.. it's a game. :confused: Ahh Jen, try again. :O_o: Hmmm... How does one play it? It looks so.... hmmm.... Do you just watch it or maybe move the things in the case somehow?

Maybe trying to figure out what the heck it does and is used for is the game! :roflmao::D

Oh I feel so young... :oops:

Milkmen, who used to deliver milk in bottles and you paid with plastic coins called cheques? They also delivered bread and eggs and you left the empty milk bottles for them to collect.

Free milk at school, drinking it at morning tea and in summer it was all warm and horrible and you got milk breath and felt sick. (No such thing as sugary heat treated flavoured milks in cartons then)

School dinners - lumpy custard and gravy, chocolate sponge pudding, shepherds pie with gristly horrible mince. Liver :sick:. I was glad that most of the time I had sandwiches.

Boil in the bag fish :sick::sick:

Findus pancakes - :sick::sick::sick:

making icecream sandwiches with wafers until the best thing ever - choc-ices were invented and then the revolution came with cornetto's (Just one Cornetto - give it to me!)

Sugar puffs and the honey monster (Tell em about the honey mummy)
Frosties (whatever that lion was called) - Tony!!!
Rice crispies (snap crackle and pop) how excited we would be trying to listen for that snap crackle and pop.
Finding the hidden toy in the cereal, usually some plastic thing that snapped into pieces and you made a toy with it.

Jen--
You push the white button on the front of the toy. It makes an air bubble inside that makes all the little rings go floating up in the water. The object is to try and make the rings land on the little posts.

I would spend FOREVER playing with one of those. But, amethist and Cath, I refuse to acknowledge that might mean I'm getting old. No way, not happening! :D

Okay, I had to do the math because I truly do lose track of how old I am. I don't know if it is a PTSD/memory thing or just because I really don't feel like I've grown up or gotten older. But the truth is I'm only 37.

Thing is I keep telling my 8 year old son I am 21 and he keeps telling me I'm not and then does the maths and tells me it is impossible and works out how old I am :mad:

He asks me things like did they have electricity when I was a child or did they use gas lights :eek:. And was the TV invented. Do I really look that old?!
