The "I Need A Hug" Thread

My belief is that because I was different ages as a child, I have child-selves of different ages.

These internal 'child-selves' have been through hell, some of them have no words for their pain, and some have never experienced love.

Today, I am asking for hugs for my wounded child-selves.

I need a hug because I need therapy but I'm too chicken to ask for help and talk about what happened to me. I'm terrified a new therapist will also not take me seriously, just like my last one.

@Snowwhite, I'm so sorry something traumatic happened to you. You deserve better support. In all the meantime, hang on tight, you've got this, you got through life's hardships before and you will do it again.

@Snowwhite : I know the situation you're in. I was in the same only half a year ago. Therapists can be traumatizing themselves just by hurting you and not taking you seriously. ...but I didn't give up and and I found a great therapist. Keep going. I know the search is hard and a way full of stones...but I'm positive that you will find the right therapist for you. *giving you encouraging-never-give-up-hugs*

@littlelostchild I am so sorry you lost your best friend. I can hardly imagine how much that must hurt. I wish you lots of love and strength to get through these tough times. :hug: and thank you for still sending me hugs, in spite of everything that's going on in your life right now.
