The Small Things In Life. What Makes You Happy?

Watching Star Wars with my kids like my big brothers did with me and explaining to them one of my favorite things.

Knowing my H has the day off and will be waiting for me when I finish work at lunchtime.

Bringing a person joy.

My farty dogs, smiling babies, simple acts of kindness, clean bed sheets, hot coffee really early in the morning, having a place to live, food to eat, access to medical care, clean drinking water, people who love me.

I could think of a bunch more but this is a great start :happy:

My 3 month old granddaughter smiling and giggling today when I looked after her for a few hours.

When my youngest comes and checks on me before he runs off to his activities. The pleasure of having him lean up against me when I'm sitting on the couch. Or hugging me, simply because he wants to. Pretty good for a teenager. It simply amazes me that he feels that way about me. I feel humbled.

Having places to go to get out of the house and enjoy myself. We have to go more christmas shopping, And here I thought I was done.
