My daughter on a very limited income is paying me fifty dollars a month to pay me back for the mattress and boxsprings I got her. She also rearranged the furniture in my bedroom and now I have way more space. Her kindness really means so much to me.

Right now, listening to my dog sleep. It's such a soothing sound.

As I was watching one of my favorite shows last night, the electricity went out which included the street lights, etc.

It was so dark that I could barely find the door to the garage. What I was looking for was a flashlight so I could see around my house. I was able to find it, so had some light until the lights came back on about an hour later.

When my neighbor from across the street came over the other day, she told me about a book that she had just read.

She gave me the title and then I came here and I saw it mentioned. I then called the library and they put my name down for when a copy comes in, I will be able to check out The Husband's Secret out to read.

What a small world in so many ways!

When the feral cat (who had kittens a few weeks ago) comes running to my window ledge when she sees me walk passed in the hallway.

I know she only wants food, but is nice to be wanted and good to know we're helping her feed her little family.
