The Small Things In Life. What Makes You Happy?

Family gatherings. My new grandaughter. My daughter's(different daughter than baby's mom) boyfriend being a progessional cook and making a yummy meal for us. Easter and my Lord's sacrifice.

Spending time outside when the weather gets nice with my husband. Today we sat in the sun, and I planted some seeds to get stuff started for my garden. We were listening to music from back when we were younger. I felt so free.

I guess I have to add baking. It's my happy place. I spent all day baking until right now, 11:30pm and haven't had a bad thought about all the shyte in my life, all day long. Lots of good food to devour tomorrow, lol!

Being able to get out of bed.
Not having a sore throat.

My dog Max has just made me laugh. I had a Magnum ice cream earlier, very chocolatey, very yummy. I wrapped the stick in paper and put it in the waste bin.

I am upstairs and heard paper rustling downstairs. I called down 'what are you doing'. Haha, Max was busted, he came upstairs carrying my lolly stick in his mouth and looking guilty. That dog is such a clown, I love him and he knows it.

Knowing that our grandson had a ball staying with us at the weekend, even though hubby struggled to cope.

Knowing my bills are going to be paid.
Listening to my boys play a game and laugh a lot.
Saying hello to my sons friend and getting a smile.

The weather today has been foul, heavy rain and hail. I've still had to walk the dogs - yuck. Tonight the rain seems to be easing so I took my chance.

Although v wet, the birds were singing, the robins and blackbirds were having a feast of all the worms which had come to the surface, the dogs were happy, a weak watery sun was trying to come out and I felt relaxed and happy.

Getting pizza for dinner, so I don't have to cook. Double yay!

Knowing I have tomorrow off work as a holiday.
