Waking up in the morning to the sound of my dogs tail thumping on the bed next to me. He must listen for the change in my breathing and when he senses I'm waking the tail begins to wag, thump, thump, thump.

My sister called today with 2 big bags of shopping! Lots of bread, buns, cheese, bacon, mustard mayo, coleslaw, chicken portions, crisps and the biggest chocolate pudding I ever saw!

I asked her, 'what's all this?'

She said, 'Well, you're my sister and I love you so I brought you a few things.' :cry::)

I couldn't believe it. There were lots of other things that I would never buy - luxury items. And these...

It feels like Christmas and I'm so pleased. Not just because of the shopping or because my sister knows we are struggling but because she said she LOVES ME! I've never heard that before and it brought tears to my eye. In the midst of problems with my H's family my sister gave me the affirmation I needed. I'm so blessed.

This brought tears to my eyes Cath. This is what true families do for each other.

The sun shining, on a warm day, we can open the windows and the doors.
