Baking with my daughter. We made blueberry muffins and she has just put some ANZAC biscuits in the oven. First ever try with the biscuits so we will see.

When my daughter called me about a job offer as a police dispatcher, she was so happy, hopeful, and excited. That so filled my heart with joy for her. That is the first time she has had those things since her ordeal started.

I am happiest when I read great poetry. When the world fades away and its just me and images from beautiful places painted by the author. I am happiest when I am laughing and having fun. I am happiest when I feel cared for and loved by others. I happiest when I feel safe. I am happiest when I dance and let go of everything else to just move. I am happy when I achieve something I set out to achieve.

Today I had a tea party with my 4 year olds. They had tea for the first time and it was so much fun watching them enjoy it so much. The odd time I will let them sip my tea. I steeped the original bag quickly in water then rebrewed it to remove the caffeine so they had very little caffeine in their tea. I learned this trick to remove caffeine naturally as opposed to buying chemical laden caffeine free teas. I did this all the time when I was pregnant so I could enjoy a cup of tea without guilt from caffeine.

Back on point. What makes me happy is seeing firsts all the time with my children. Today it was a cup of tea for the first time. Brownies, strawberries, nutella toast and marshmallows. The order for the day at tea party. I think this will be a once a week planned event.
