I have tried every way I could think of, but to no avail. I am scared.
Your country is so large and with so many people using this amendment in this way I don't suppose there is much you can do- especially with a President who seemingly doesn't support eradication of racism.
Now there is a silver lining to this.
While the 1st amendment guarantees the right to free speech. It does not guarantee freedom from the consequences of your words.
For example, were I an American. I could go into work, find the first co-worker of a different ethnicity than I. Shout racial slurs at him and I won't be arrested.
I will however be fired. Not to mention, possibly punched in the face.
I suppose I'm proud that our laws in the UK do not allow hatred towards other people in that you'd get arrested for inciting racial hatred and the situation would be under control pretty quickly.
Stay safe anyone marching/protesting against these... well not sure what to call them.
@Neverthesame I remember the Prince Harry incident- he was grounded for some time for that!
