I know how you feel brother. I think the VA and military takes a lot of civilian rejects. f*ck that dude, he has no clue. From what I get he was praising himself while saying you're a f*ck up because he's incompetent in his job.

I'm lucky that I found a nurse clinician that really cares. She's the first person in the VA that I feel like a person with.

My primary care physicians have changed 5 times in the past year. I'm sure from being fired. None seemed to act like they care at all. Most are completely retarded. One Indian dude would literally walk in and ask me what's going on. Say nothing and leave me in there until his nurse came and got me. I would ask isn't the doctor gonna come back and say anything? I got into an argument with a Asian civilian army doctor trying to tell me my nexium was a stool softener. She barely spoke English. I told her you know what... you're the doctor so you should know huh. Another civ army doc literally just asked me what I wanted. I'm pretty sure he would have gave me anything I asked for including opioids. I told him you're the doctor shouldn't you know what to do. Give me an X-ray for my back and profile. It took me 2 years to get an MRI. I finally went to the VA and told them I want an MRI and I'm not taking no for an answer. Which then revealed how f*cked my back really was. It seems like if you want something from the VA, you have to really fight for it. Call their bosses and if necessary you state rep or senator. Sorry about the rant, the va just really pisses me off sometimes.

If I were you I would file a complaint and request a different psychologist. Most of these mother f*ckers are just collecting a pay check. You're a number and they couldn't give two shits.

As far as saying rape ptsd is more severe than combat. That's a load of horse shit. All forms of ptsd affect everyone differently. I was raped by a nasty ass MI chick when I was super drunk after my first beerfest. She was trying all night and I told her f*ck no. Also had a female SSG stick her hands up my shorts and start grabbing my penis at a end of Ftx BBQ. I told her to stop several times before her friends took her home. I couldn't give two shits about either one. I'm sure it's worse for females and violent rapes though. I'd rather be raped than hit by and IED or shot again... just sayin.

I've been talking to a counselor at the Vet Center on and off for years. Only combat vets qualify for the Vet Venter. With this, the counselors there have more experience. They are funded by the VA but are still individual from them, thank god.

I still squirm when I visit the VA but not when visiting the Vet Venter.
