Well I am working that day and then probably coming home to hang out with my dogs. Oh, I will probably stop by the VA Hospital and see my brother for a bit too.

I plan on working overtime to pay for the flowers, cards, chocolates for wife, Mom, Mother-in-law, 2 daughters, 3 grandkids. We won't even mention meals out at restaurants.

Not that I'm complaining!

Hey Nicolette..I can relate to the romantic poots from the hubby. Been married 24 years and mine still shares as if its his way of "marking his territory"! I guess you know they really love you when they share their gas! Problem is...and this is a warning for the future...the smell gets stronger with age. You find yourself sharing his odorous scent from the other room and can use this as a way to find what area he is in the house!!! Guess when you get older, your eyes give out, so this becomes another survivor skill.

Valentine's Day is my birthday so I never do anything for anybody. I just let all the presents come to me! I like chocolate, flowers, glittery things...so it all works out.

Personally, I hate Valentines day (but I guess that's because I'm single ;)), so I try not to even think about it.

But of course to all those in relationships and marriages, I wish you all a happy, and romantic day, where you take time out to appreciate your 'other half'. And lots of love and hugs to all my 'single' friends here. So, to all 'single' members in particular.......

Happy Valentines Day (and if anyone asks - you can say that you did get a 'valentines':p). We may not have romance, but we are still special, and we are still loved.

I should hate valentines day really, as this was the day my first husband left.

OK my decision for him to go, but what a day for him to pick. But then again he had to prove to the one he left me for that it was committed to their relationship. Funny how she then left him a few years later.

We can make any day special, but do add that bit extra on Valentines day, just because we can.
