General We are Grandparents Again - Twin Boys!

Congrats! I feel happy for you and cannot help but feel a little sorry for the parents of the mixed blessing. Being a twin I know what is coming down the chute later LOL... Wonderful news.

Thank you both for the good wishes! I am not certain about Angela and her parents, however Veiled please don't feel sorry for Rick as he gave us enough grief in his youth that he has a bit coming to him now. :wink: Truthfully though I am very pleased and proud for him being a father now. These two little ones are his first children.

congratulations to you and your entire family at the arrival of your new grandsons. It is certainly a blessing for the grandparents to have a namesake. I wish you all the best. ALthough I am feeling overwhellmed for your daughter in law, as I know I find it hard to cope with two little ones and there are 18months between mine. I am sure she will be fine though as she has the support of you and your family.

Thank you Nicolette and Tammy. Yes Tammy, things are already becoming a bit hairy. Angela came home yesterday and as she has had a c section she can barely move about. Rick has been granted 2 weeks leave which is helpful except that he is uncertain what to do! ;) He rung me up this morning for advice, and I could barely hear him over the cries of the little ones. He sounded quite desperate. Angela's mother is arriving from Quebec tomorrow, otherwise I would be going there myself to help. I may still go later after her departure, and after Rick has gone back to work. A c section is quite the ordeal and Angela will be sore for some time.

Congratulations...Wish you all the best ! Twice the joy and happiness...and twice the sleepy nights ! lol..but all worth it !! I have 2 grown sons myself..23 and 27 and was I ever glad I had my mom living close by when they were babies....Grandparents are such welcome help ! Again congtratulations !

I know this is late Kathy, but I had to say Congrats! Oh, how lucky those little babies are to have a grandparent like you and so close! I will wish the new parents some sleep :smile:. I love hearing good news such as this!

Thank you ladies, we are absolutely thrilled. Nam, it is never too late to offer your congratulations! Though it is quite amazing how much they have grown even in this short period of time. They are almost 2 weeks old now.
