Whitney, I've gone from having several rooms, large rooms with a piano and lots of windows to a small, dark apartment with only one window, and no piano. I have two rooms, and a bathroom. The living room is also the kitchen. They are combined. There is no storage in the apartment, so I had to get rid of most everything that meant anything to me. I've made the best of it, because I had to trade for just staying alive. Sigh.
Thank you for helping me to do this. I finally got someone to put the recliner (which no longer works) over by the only window in the living room so I can look out. But since the motor burned out, I can't up and down in the chair, so I don't use it. I think I need to exchange it for a rocking chair, but not sure how to do that. Mostly my living room is full of wheelchairs and metal legs and things like that. I do have a couple of bookcases in here, but I had to get rid of most of my books because the dust was keeping me on oxygen.
I know, I'm whining again, aren't I? whine, whine, whine. cheese.
