Frustrated, while also deeply feeling the pain of those closest to me in real life who are suffering in various ways. None of whom wish to drastically change their consumption habits, but all of whom continue to bitch and moan about their pains, allergies, congestion, colds, tummy issues, etc., steadily blaming others for passing off something contagious to them, or blaming the weather, not ever willing to entertain the fact they may simply be eating and drinking many of their ills day in and day out.
Change the basic fuels you're trying like hell to keep running on and perhaps you'll experience a change in symptoms. Often times things will get much worse before it gets better while your body adjusts, that's a given, just like potential side effects of meds, there are also side effects of all we ingest. That Hippocrates dude, the one who wrote the oath all doctors must take about first do no harm and stuff, mentioned something about letting food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. Never had a doc mention that to me before. But that's exactly what it took to finally work for me, after several decades of trying all the other ways. But nooooo....according to them, what they consume couldn't be the issue or the doc would have most certainly already mentioned it. If a doc doesn't say it, it can't be true. Grrrrr...
Ummm....hello? My doc continually told me I was "healthy", based on blood work, when I was weighing in at 324 f*cking pounds, even after having been diagnosed with severe IBS, severe nervous stomach, severe fibromyalgia, severe insomnia, severe depression, severe anxiety, severe adhd, severe this, severe that, just a damn severe existence, it seems. But by all means, let's try yet another buffet of various pills and a shit load of "comfort" foods to "treat" ourselves with to see which one supposedly "cures" all the ills by temporarily masking symptoms and halting the body's natural mechanisms of trying to get rid of what ails you itself. Giving a shit is, without a doubt, one of the most exhausting things there is. Especially when you've experienced deep relief in the exact areas you see others continually struggling in.
