What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Overwhelmed! Panicky. Happy and hopeful but sad, too. Nostalgic. Leaving a city/state I called home for ten years in a little over a week...making goodbye rounds and packing....it's surreal.
 
Absolutely furious at my husbands mother for piling all her issues onto him yesterday. :mad:

He had a bad night due to her selfish moaning, and winging.

I told her not to, I have warned her that if she did this, he would not call and see her on his own anymore. So now thats it, no more visits to see her on his own.

She was in hospital a few weeks back, because of her health issues. They sorted everything out, we think, but she has gone back to doing things her own way. She is diabetic and will not listen to anyone, as she knows best. His dad is angry at her too.

Well so be it, she is on her own now, I refuse to help her anymore.
 
Want to give (((hugs))) to into the light, Cherryblossom and Junebug. I hope you guys feel better soon. Sorry Amethist, I hope that you get a bit of a break soon with your mum. I'm a very very good diabetic (which is about an average of 7.5 mmol on the metre.) My blood sugars during pregnancy were so low, my son's birthweight was normal and he was the highest apgar at birth. I get how hard it is to be a good diabetic. It took me a few appointments psychologically to get there as I was too good (blood sugars were to low and needed to come up a bit.) Sometimes a bit of psycholgy helps to get to that right place.

I think the best lesson I learn was from my nutritionist, to eat for pleasure, not just for carbs ect. She told me to eat more sugar and things I like. If your blood sugars are the same at 2 hours you can eat it. Which is quite a lot of things. I eat pasta macaroni which has lower GI, basmati rice which has a lower GI, potatoes with jackets lots of vegies, Bulla low GI low fat Icecream and bananna, Low fat pies and low fat canola chips. I buy really lean mince and make it up into little frozen patties. Sometimes tricking myself into the heatlhier snacks a different way is a good way to keep my blood sugars low when I feel bad.

I hope your mother in law starts behaving herself.
 
Feeling on edge and paranoid. Also feeling damned tired of being in pain - I've been clenching and grinding my poor teeth so much lately that my head feels ready to break apart. Agh.
 
Angry at myself for not being able to hold onto the good and sinking into the dark again. Damn it all anyway....this just plain is wrong. I hate it so much and feel so powerless to stop the downward spiral. Feel like taking it out on myself and feel guilty for that too. I want off this roller coaster!
