What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I feel proud of myself for doing most of my assignment by myself and I have a feeling of accomplishment that makes me feel so good.'I am excited about getting the girls this weekend and they cannot wait to come over. So I feel very loved and I am grateful to my daughter who shares them with me.
 
I was feeling Sheer Panic to get everything done before Oct 13 knee replacement surgery, before winter, before my sister dies, before so many things. I had a gentle reminder this morning that my panic will not change what is and to remember to have compassion on myself for all that is going on right now. I am doing just that, so now I am allowing myself to feel some compassion. Grief over my sister is still a strong feeling as well. The panic is much less and I am working on replacing it with acceptance of the things I cannot change.
 
I am feeling so much better than I did when I woke up. It is a odd thing but for the longest time whenever I wake up I am bombarded with negative thinking and fears and it so hard to do battle with them.

But today I managed to calm those fears quickly and I am feeling so much better. I do not know what today will bring to me, I hope good things, and I am feeling so much better.
 
@Pottershand I am so with you on the acceptance of what is. It is like magic once it begins. I have accepted some hard things in my life and although they are still hard I am not fighting or resisting them anymore simply accepting them and working on some solutions.

Good for you on giving yourself credit for all that you are dealing with and going through and facing right now.

I do not know how I arrived at acceptance but it is a good beginning and how much more so for you with all that you have on your shoulders right now. Baby steps and one thing at a time, I know easier said than done. I so admire you for coming to acceptance in the midst of where you are right now. I call that a miracle.
