What Did You Do For Someone Else Today?

Family move at 2yrs old from europe to NZ. No extended family, especially grandparents. On my daily walks, with my dog met a wonderful very elderly couple. He is hanging out laundry outside to dry. New to the neighborhood he guided me on what to plant in my organic garden bed. We shared herbs and veggies and half loafs of bread, he would make lasagna, me soups. There phone stopped working, and he is a do it all capable, but the wiring was causing issues. I borrowed a cell phone, and we were able to find out if it was the equipment or wiring. They are the grandparents I did not have.

So many broken relationship issues from the PTSD, but with them I can give all the best of me, and hugs in return. Nurturing without judgement, no baggage.

I shared a humerous story with my daughter and made her laugh so hard. Laughter really is the best medicine.

Made a manly man meal for hubby. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes,veggies and gravy. Took 3 hours to get it just right! lol

I called my best friend to help her get up in the morning.

I went shopping for my mother in the city.

I had a pleasant long chat with my grandmother - while my parents were out and she was alone.

I looked after Papa Bear. I tended him. I monitored his hydration levels.

Made people laugh.

Was friendly.

I gave advice to a friend who told me about another friend who is stalked by her former boyfriend. I told him what she has to do and about the further steps to take.

I helped an older person to find his way in the headquarters. (They are like a maze.)

I helped an old lady to open the door to the shopping mall.

Tending the heart and creating some fun and joy.
