Even though I might be alone, I do owe myself anything and everything in order to keep going on a daily basis. I have been doing this for a very long time, so I can't quit now.

I need to keep taking care of myself and to listen and to pay attention when my peace and serenity is affected.

I believe that I'm due all those years that I spent caring for my late wife, back! As I feel that I was cheated of them.

As in the end, she betrayed me, by believing all the stories that her family told her, during her last days, of how I was supposed to have starved and abused her?

Those years were like being under house arrest for me, I couldn't even got out to the shops, unless someone was here with her, and believe me, her family weren't what you would call, regular visitors?

Unless they wanted money, that is?
