What Does Not Cause Ptsd?

Finding out you have a hole in your boot when you step in a puddle of slush on your way to work. Work all day with a cold wet foot and then have to walk through the same slush to get home does not give you PTSD.

Yes, and it's never for a bank website password, always for some consumer product. Why they need such high security when I was just signing up for a coupon, I'll never know...

Having all your data vacuumed up into the black hole of the NSA does not cause PTSD, maybe some paranoia... but not PTSD.

When your favourite television show gets cancelled for no valid reason you can decipher. It's an irritating thing, but it does not cause PTSD. [It may cause an angry verbal outburst, however :laugh:]

Discovering that one of your posts here on the forum was edited by a moderator, and not understanding what was wrong with it does not cause PTSD. Maybe some annoyance and concern, but not PTSD.

Being told I am good looking would not cause it.
Driving a mustang convertible for a color tour, and date night with my most excellent wife would not cause it (We did this a month ago and no flashbacks yet:) )

@Barberian mine is an Australian rugby league team. In the NFL, I'm still trying to work out who I want to go for, because I was a Tebow fan I used to go for the Denver Broncos. I think I still do, as Peyton Manning is awesome. I've still got a lot to learn about American Football though.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but the US made the quarter-finals of the Rugby League World Cup - against all odds. Unfortunately for you guys, the Aussies just hammered you, but we were proud of you for making it! But back on topic for this thread - I'm sure none of the US boys got PTSD from it!

I hate going shopping at big super stores. But yesterday I went anyways. I spent two hours, loaded my cart full, then stood in the cashier's line for 20 minutes before it was my turn. I spent more money than I would have liked. Of course, that doesn't cause PTSD. But I wonder, if having to push my cart filled to the brim with bags about a quarter of a mile to my car afterwards and then discovering that the cashier didn't charge me for all the stuff on the bottom of the cart shelf does?
