I was really upset over my visit with my kidney doctor several weeks ago. When I saw my counselor yesterday, she said, he might be a good surgeon, but he definitely did not have any bedside manners. I couldn't believe how his behavior affected me for days and days.

Your kidney surgeon @Let It Be sounds perhaps somewhat like the colon surgeon I was assigned last year. Man, he was a jerk-wad dog-faced boy! He talked a bit dirty to me and with the rest of his speak he was gruff gruff gruff! Sorry you too had to also experience poor bedside mannerisms from your surgeon. Hopefully neither of us will ever have to see either of them again! Hug if you accept:hug:

Hope it's okay to say @Ninja I do not see you as being petty due to having to deal with neighbor loudly playing the piano and the same song over and over again! No. I used to be angry from time to time over a former neighbor who played the drums one year, and the drums another year, then the guitar another year (not in order). His sister had each year purchased for him at Christmas a different instrument, etc. He's gone now and I so can relate to what you're now going through.

Trying to make my family understand (yet again) that even though I am physically strong and appear healthy, I really am still disabled. On the bright side, I no longer feel like I need to apologize for it.
