I’ve probably got relatives rolling over in their graves... listening to a Japanese violinist playing Italian music, on December 7th... but I like her version better than Bell’s & Pearlman’s. Own all 3. But there’s just something gripping in her piece that the boys are lacking. Love. It. The John Wick Version (below) isNT quite as good as some of her recordings, better than others, but easy to find!

@MrMoonlight I was the biggest Doors fan when I was younger. Today is Jim's birthday. He would have been 76 years old. One of my favorites is L.A. woman.

I didn't realize today was his birthday @LuckiLee . They have always meant something to me. LA Woman is one of my favorites...the whole album really. The Changeling, Been down so long, LA woman, riders...such good stuff. It reminds me a lot of the time I worked at a ski resort, being lost I suppose...but my fascination began when I was in HS.

I was in high school too, 35 years later and my friends still remember my obsession. (The man was fiiine!!) I still have my pins I wore on my Members Only jacket. ?

Oh no, members only lol. ? I had a great Levi jacket back in the early 80's that I put all my pins on, my family kinda had a record shop as a side business and I was able to pin that sucker down.
