Funny story, aparently Eric was sitting at home enjoying life one day and the record company called and asked how the album was coming. He said fine. Then he called his agent to find out what album he was supposed to be doing. His contract was for a studio album or a double live and was to be delivered in about 6 weeks
So his agent gets on the phone and looks for a venue, Eric gets a band together, reherses, they play Boudokan, and end up with one "close enough to perfect" recording from one show and.....what I consider to be one of his best albums, Just One Night.
