I don't know how this can be happening. YOU sound perfectly coherent and remarkably composed. None of the rest of it makes sense. I'm sure there's something you're not being told. YOU are not the reason this doesn't make sense. It really sounds, to me, like you can't make sense of it because it doesn't make sense. More than likely something is being left out.
I don't think I'm getting the full story. I did have one clinic tell me my insurance said I made up being raped.
The first part of that I'm 100% convinced is true. The second part is an explanation. And, it could be some kind of twisted, misunderstood version of that.
I'm not sure where you live or what kind of insurance you have. In the US, I suppose there's going to be a difference between states. At this point, if I were you, I'd try anyone I knew who "knows people". I'm still thinking you need an advocate. If this is what it looks like it is, you've been labeled as some kind of "crazy person best avoided for legal reasons". While that makes NO sense as a description of you, that kind of mix up could sure explain how you're being treated. The thing is, it's a "well known fact" that all us crazy people think we're fine and the problem is everyone else. I think you need someone with the most impeccable credibility possible to support you. Someone who knows you fairly well and who's used to dealing with bureaucracies.
I keep wondering how they can possibly refuse to treat you. Obviously they're doing it, but what possible grounds are there for mental health "professionals" to refuse to treat someone who's looking for help? I did a little looking online. Sounds like they have a fair amount of latitude to refuse to treat who ever they want to, BEFORE you establish a professional relationship with them. What a "professional relationship" is is subject to some interpretation. This just seems wrong! At the very least, they owe you a reasonable explanation. I can see where they might avoid that, if they were concerned about how you're react to the explanation. Which is an advantage of getting someone else to do the asking.
If there's any way you can manage to contact that back up T, I'd do it. What ever it costs, you're worth it!
