What Tv Shows Do You Watch When Having A Rough Time?

I'm completely sold on Orphan Black. It's killing me Amazon only releases one episode a week instead of all at once.

Oh, I loved the first season of Orphan Black!

I'm also enjoying Quantico, though I regularly fail to follow what's going on and have to keep rewinding bits - and then I feel like I'm being very stupid because something tells me this series isn't rocket science and yet it challenges me!

@CrowFeather Orphan Black is so good! I've only watched the first two seasons, need to pick it back up.

@barefoot I haven't heard of Quantico. I wonder if it's available in the US. Sorry to hear that about X-Files.

Another show we're watching lately is Better Call Saul. I'm not sold yet, but my husband really likes it. I find it rather tense.

Anyone watching Mr. Robot? The second season just started and it's really good. I don't want to ruin it in case you haven't finished the first season so I'm going to put my discussion behind a spoiler.

Eliot has DID which I think is a really interesting choice for a TV show in 2016. I'm not DID, but I am DDNOS, so I feel like I can relate a little bit, especially with the losing time issue. I find myself yelling stuff like "Don't fight with your alter! It never turns out well!" and thinking how crazy that would sound to someone uninformed about DID and/or dissociation. Anyway, I have fun watching this show and think they do an adequate job of not making him look like a total nutjob. Although there's always room for improvement.

I'm excited to start watching Vice Principals. I'm a huge fan of Eastbound and Down, and can't wait to see Danny McBride and Walton Goggins play off each other. Anyone started watching it yet?

My husband and I finished Stranger Things the other night, but I kept falling asleep during the episodes so I need to rewatch it before forming an opinion. The parts I watched were pretty fun though.

The Walking Dead. Yeah, it's not exactly a mood lifter, but I just love it and the actors and it reminds me that my life is nowhere as shitty as it could be, and I need to suck it up.

I like the Flash and Arrow too.

Sometimes when I'm having a bad time the distracting entertaining kinds of TV show don't cut it, sometimes I need something that speaks to why I have c-PTSD ie something about my experiences... weirdly sometimes I need the validation even though it's not very cheerful telly.
