Well wiki talked about how he was protested at a bar where drinks were thrown at him. He's called a rape promoter in Nordic countries, some Canadians tried to ban him from entering the country, which didn't happen.

Vox covered the recent scandal and basically painted the guy as a pickup artist. Anonymous has given out his families address. His brand is selling pickup tactics. The guy is a provocateur. Some of the shit he says really hits the fan. He's anti-feminist but not an MRA (his own words).

The meetup was cancelled because he feared for the safety of the men who were to attend.

Where is all this rape stuff coming from? When did pickup line tricks become rape? When did guys who couldn't get girls meeting up become New Years Cologne? That was real. This alarmist attitude is baffling to me.

I'm not link worthy so I can't post a link to the rape legalization stuff he's said. It's not a matter of extreme pick up lines being misinterpreted as rape. He has indeed written a blog article about how rape should be made legal. I am completely surprised that your search didn't turn this up. When I searched his name via Google, his pro legalization of rape stuff was in the first few hits.

The Vox article talks about that. The statement was satirical (SMH). The comment wasn't pro-rape. He's stated over and over again he's against rape. He gaffed majorly on that one, that's for sure.

Backtracking after the fact. I'm not sure I'd trust the recant of a guy who wants us to see the humor in rape.

IMHO after he published it to the inter webs he realized he took a step too far and had to play it off. Maybe the rape stance was crimping his womanizing.
