Who pays for the forum?

I also love this site. I have healed a great deal, but there are people here I love and it helps keep me regulated. I will be donating when my SSDI comes in. Thank you all for making this site a great experience!

A big thank-you to everybody who has donated this year, and those responding to this current call! Over the last four days we've gotten ourselves just past the half-way mark for our yearly goal. Now, we just need to push a little further to keep pace with where we want to be at the end of month 7 (aka, July)...and maybe we can even go past that marker. Which would be awesome.

Well, careful what one wishes for I guess - as of today we are just $183 dollars shy of our goal for the YEAR.

As in, the year ending this coming December 31, 2021.

Way, way ahead of the mark. And still 12 days until the end of the month - or 11, depending on which hemisphere you call home, and how you relate to Greenwich Mean Time.

Point being - it's exciting to see so much support, and in such a range. Every. Single. Gift. Counts! We're doing incredibly well.

Well, the end of July is upon us - and when the most recent donation is logged, this community will have gotten the funding goal for 2021 down to just $100 (US).

It's a testament to how important the site is to so many of us, that we can address the financial needs of the forum so quickly.

It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway - the last year and a half has been positively brutal, and I don't doubt that there are many members who wish they could manage a donation but are finding themselves still struggling in the devastation caused by the pandemic.

If that sounds like you - then you should know: you aren't at all a lesser member of this community if you can't afford to give. We all support this place in the ways we can - and sometimes, that's accomplished simply by showing up, reading, commenting, adding to this incredible knowledge bank that continues to grow and thrive.

And with a final thank you to all - I can gladly unpin this thread, and share with you that we have reached our annual goal of $1600!

There's always a new goal to be reached - so, if you haven't ever given to the forum, and even want to contribute as little as one dollar - you are very welcome to do so. Any moneys we raise over our current goal will most likely be applied to future funding needs. So, it's never a bad time to give to the forum.
