Hi amethist,
well it definitely helped me for a short while. This morning I had to be straight forward again, repeating myself about responsibility and getting his butts together, and after that he managed to drag himself out of his apartment and went to work.
AND - he went to get some meds, supporting the getting off the alcohol, knowing that there is no actual medication without having the will, I think that is at least a tiny step in the right direction.
At the moment I just do not feel like walking on eggshells all the time!
