This Beatles song has been going around in my head for about a week now. I was thinking maybe I should post it as my message to all of you for your love and support since I've joined.

But something happened today in therapy and now my reason for posting this song has changed. During therapy I reached a deeper level than ever before. I saw myself at about the age of 6 watching my mom clean the house. Her back was turned to me and that little girl felt so alone, so unloved and so thrown away.

As I was driving home, this song was in my mind again. And my thought now is that this song is to that little 6 year old girl from me now as an adult. She deserves to know that I love her and that she is not alone anymore.

So here goes:)

Sounds like you made a real breakthrough in therapy!! Loving that little girl that is still inside you is a gift you can still give her/you.

I can really relate to your post. That's what I tried to accomplish for two decades and finally did last year.

One song that triggered feelings I had as a child was by ABBA called I Have A Dream, and I could see the little me standing, singing, in spite of his pain. And a great feeling of excitement and sadness came over me all at once, for I had found what I thought had been forever lost.
