When you can walk away from a post with a shrug and think ...they are triggering and didn't really mean it in that manner.

When you trigger on a post and think...I am triggering- so come back later, much later... if at all.

Tangentially, when you back off talking because you don't want to hurt decent people, but then you need to remind yourself that's abuse/depression talking. Not responsible, not to blame, life is what is, what's up with that silence.

Your brain is stuck back in time. Seriously the music, my attitude, my hormones, my dressing style, my interests...I am reliving 12-15. I hate those ages...and im trying to be the thirty something Mom at the same time. :confused:

when you think grocery shopping with @Cashew would be an interesting experience since those things are on my grocery list too.

When you go to appointment with new prescriber, give her the "highlights" of the experiences that gave you ptsd and she says she is happy for me that I no longer live with my parents or have contact with them.

When you get drug tested to make sure you are not self medicating in addition to prescribed meds.

You fall apart after a single line of information clarifying so much else about your trauma, multiple of them, and your bonding patterns because of wrong mindset.

Then you remember said friend phrased it as he has for a reason and expects analysis of the text, instead of the personal bullshit trainwrecks.

Ha. :D If my recovery is just work like I can do it. Back on track.
