When you need to be told acute spike up in many symptoms following a trigger requires entirely different set of actions. Or more like inaction.

Because action, you've got. Resting, you can't figure on your own as even possibly an option.

I don't have PTSD. I'm on a quest and the universe didn't catch up to my itinerary yet.

& When imagination & dreams are all the therapy you needed and wus afraid to ask.

& When everything you learned about breathing, nerves, energy, fluidity, tension, pressure, relaxation & minds goes channeled into keeping yourself away from daily blackouts because of ongoing trauma. Lookit, I'm totally psychokinetic & keeping my body together by X-men f*ckery! :D

When you are talking to retired service and ask," So do you think that you disassociate when you scare people with your intensity?" And he answers,"Perhaps, they say- that they are frightened but I do not know what it is that I am doing besides standing there."

To which I replied," You just seemed like a brother to me, who knows hypervigilance within seconds has saved your life and others." and he understood and sighed relief.
