You know you have PTSD and you're in love when you and you gf start arguing over which one is Portia and which one is Ellen.

She starts the conversation with :
Her : awww baby, you're my Ellen
Me : are you saying you're pretty and I'm funny?
Her : nope. I'm saying you're older and wiser
Me : can I use that next time we argue?
Her : absolutely not

and have had it for life when the only Happy Birthday you get is an email from PTSD Forum, and you're very grateful. And smile. And you know you have PTSD, and have had it for life, when you break down and pray to god to please...please help me heal. And rid me of this shame. And finally, you know you have PTSD, and have had it for life when you cry after a post like this. And while writing it, too. :smile:
