You know you have PTSD when.... you can be the most rational person doing complex financial ratio analysis one minute; and then you get triggered and numbers don't make any sense unless you start counting on your fingers.

When a really good day is when you remember everything that happened.
When you remember to push the bagel down to toast instead of standing there wondering why it's not done and realize you didn't start it.:eek:

-When you spend 10 minutes looking at a clock while the security guard next to you is telling you what time it is.

- When you get an anxiety attack in the supermarket and spend 15 minutes standing in one spot, because you can't decide to either buy ice cream or a bag of chips, and you don't even know if 10.- is enough for it all.

When you wake up bright and early Monday morning so you can get to the bank and get some money while its early.

So you leave the house early, which is very unusual for you, but anyway its a beautiful morning, you pull up to the bank right at about 9am and there's even a nice parking spot right out front. *thinking to self* It pays to be early, sometimes parking in front is impossible. Must be my lucky day :)!

Walk up to the bank, grab the door, :confused: hmmm, it's looks kinda dark in there.

Look a little closer, ooooooh :poop: not again.

You confirm with the nice guy who just rode his bicycle to the ATM. "is it Sunday?" .... "YEP" :p

Oh damn I need to check the calendar every time I leave the house now.

Kick self in the but. Go home crawl back into bed.

You know you have PTSD when....you have most nonsensical dream and wake up seriously pissed off. Even though you know its a dream, you still can't get rid of the pissed off feeling. Too bad my back is bad, or I could have seriously accomplished some major yard work. Stuck with stewing until it wore off on its own.:(

When something's upsetting you and you start to have a little cry about it, so you reach for a tissue and suddenly you realise that although you feel vaguely that you're located out in space somewhere, you're actually at your desk at work with people around.
