Just listen to the first part of lyrics, almost perfectly describes me. Forced to flee to a new place, due to troubles at the old one. Digging myself a well where noone can get to me. Filled with sadness. The start, dreaming of myself as a person with more oportunities, seeking love that I had little, seeking friendship, seeking support.

The hope in something you worked for, keeping it from falling apart, letting you sink and drown. Noone listening, noone hearing. Only escaping. Thrown away for being different, thrown away by ones who actually hide behind their fears, wearing masks of lies. Hoping for a better tommorow, being thankful to 'her'. To my boat, that keeps me floating, prevents me from falling into the cold darkness so far that I can't get back to the top. Giving me warmth.

- World full of hate by Dropkick Murphys

Really, really gets to the point of me. Trying to change myself, be everything I am needed to be. Random events triggering memories in me. Song I can't let go, that is lurking back there in my mind. Only marking people by the enemy or not chart. Trying to get rid of the bad stuff in my life. Desparate for how much pain there is in the world, and how little I can do about it, how much pain I have yet to see and endure.

That are the songs of my life (I skipped my lullaby to not trigger).

The beauty of the music and the lyrics is so well composed that the creepy, fearful feeling just builds up and leaves me with goosebumps.

Metallica - Fade to Black
Somewhere I read that it's actually about when someone stole their equipment and instruments, but to me it's about suicide no matter what. The music is also a masterpiece.

I know it's about war, but I love this song.

Not as direct, but relates to my hate towards my life, my feelings, the madness that comes upon me. How much I miss 'her' now (she won't be back in the town till monday). The broken soul of mine, tortured by what I've been put through, yet, I often feel like I am just wearing masks. Acting out happiness. I am confused with what I am. Slowly falling down, drowning.

Stairway To Heaven by Led Zeppelin

It has been so long now since I have heard it, but the title is really what grabs me as the story of my life. Stairways are tough to climb, tougher as you go. Imagine a stairway of a thousand steps! Somehow once you start climbing, you go on and on, even when it hurts. Then as you reach near to the top, you feel like you have accomplished something. You feel elated.

This song was popular when I was a teen. I graduated high school in 1973, and am 60 years old now. Maybe I shall go find it on UTUBE. I think I will. I need to listen to it again. I had the album back then. It was one of my favorite songs. It's been a long time....

OK, So I listened to it and it was a bit different than I recalled, although as I heard it, I knew the words that were coming. The meaning of the song and its words is different than my life, so it is the title that I mean, as well as my explanation above.

@Glara I checked it, the song was inspired by and incident where their equipment was stolen, but it's about suicide anyway. Two points to you! :p
