See how you go Ruth it is early days an to start with on 50mg i was able to ride to out but wasn't convinced on it until the dose was increased and a week on the higher dose i knew couldn't tolerate it anymore. All SSRI have there problems and i hope it eases off if things get too much though get backt to your doctor. Doctors have a habit of saying ride it out but sometimes we have to say hang on a minute thats not wise. It is us that in the position of going through the effects so make sure if things get worse you don't get fobbed off.

Things often get worse before they get better but sometimes the riding it out period can be too much when already in a vulnerable head space. Keep us posted and hope things get better soon.

It's been really interesting reading other peoples opion of lustral. I was put on it a couple of years ago, and it was fantastic from day one. However, over time it became less effective and so I just stopped taking it. I had no withdrawal symptoms but I did crash badly a few months later and ended up in hospital:( The hospital put me back on it, but it has never worked as well as the first time. The doc tried to add several different meds into it as well, but they either had no effect or the side effects were horrific, so now just on lustral. I tried to up the dose and suffer the intense aggitation that it caused hoping that my body would adjust to the higher dose, but it didn't, so now back on 100mg and feel better:)
Well, i say better, but I'm not sure! We haven't been able to do any EMDR work now for 4 weeks as the T says I am just too dissosiated! I think I feel better dissosiated, because I feel safer??? Has anyone else found the dissosaition on Lustral a problem?
