Oh no!!!....there are many others(which comment on society via documentaries as a form of activism) all over YouTube/Vimeo etc....
Dare I say hundreds!
Mind you the budget and exposure that M. Moore receives is the exception not the rule.

Bringing democracy to other countries is very expensive, but at least is good for shareholders!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I think that's what I mean - that's he's a competitive professional documentarian, has been at it for a long time, and really understands the intersection of art, activism, and entertainment. Spike Lee sometimes touches on it, and Oliver Stone sort of had the knack, albeit from a fiction-forward place. Michael moore has almost greated a genre of documentary that only he occupies. It's interesting to me.

That is an exceptional way to view it. This is what I thought, but couldn't verbalise, when in this latest creation of his he was standing at the Berlin wall talking with a longtime friend about their time at the wall, being part of bringing it down, chipping away at it with others to remove the divide.

That is longtime activism with engrained roots across the world, let alone the obvious knowledge he has about the true issues and looks at realistic ways to implement change, i.e. what is working elsewhere, lets use that to fix our problems.

That is idealism... no one country has all the answers, yet collectively we all do things well. Some of those things will not work elsewhere and are engrained into culture, yet the underlying components can be used and implemented to create a new culturalistic aspect in another country, that develops from a seed planted over 20 years to right a wrong, to change a broken system.
