What Did You Want To Be When You Grew Up?

Age 5, I wanted to be a rockstar or actor

At ages 8-9, I wanted to be an archaeologist or scientist. I was fascinated by ancient ruins.

When I was 10, I wanted to be an astronaut or a fighter pilot.

From ages 11-12, I wanted to be a narwhal-taming explorer, or pro track athlete

Age 13-14, famous narwhal-tamer or international explorer-spy, president of the USA (lol)

15-now, I don't really know, but I want to get into the political sciences and government.

It's fun to reminisce about these kinds of things. What did you guys want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a firefighter and a Marine... So I joined the Marine Corps and became a firefighter. I was devastated when my injuries ended my career. On one hand I accomplished everything I set out to accomplish, but on the other hand the ride ended way too soon, so what next? It's tough when you have nothing left to aspire to. Tic-toc-tic-toc goes the hands on the clock...

A cop. I wanted to fight what I grew up with which also included my cousin's crack habit that I watched from up a tree. This was before I discovered my love for computers.

I always had a soft place for helping people. I am not a cop but I am helping people in my job and at end of the day, that's what it all boils down to.

My grandmother asked me this when I was about seven, as I loved running and climbing trees and cycling I said I would like to be an athlete. As I got a little older I thought I'd like to be an architect. Now I would just like my health back and to do some sort of gardening.

These days I'm just happy to assist people as they fix their shit, themselves. :)
